"I already have a player v pro 14way from last year, but with Vessels Black Friday sale and my reward points I couldn’t resist picking up a player v dxr 6way. I’ve always wanted a 14way but like others have said the clubs do get stuck especially when opening/closing the legs, so I took this opportunity to get the 6way and like it a lot more. The DXR looks way better in person. My wife didn’t like the pictures and thought it looks like a kids bag but when it arrived she couldn’t believe it was the same bag. Now she wants my DXR bag. Never thought I would like the DXR more than the synth leather."
"I’m really happy with this bag. The DXR material feels more premium than the PU leather in the regular player v. It feels more like the bag of a serious athlete opposed to just a luxury item. I’m also impressed with the storage layout. Even fully packed, the bag looks slim and streamlined to the eye. One minor criticism is there is minor club tangle. I wish the storage slots had more space, but this isn’t a deal breaker. A putter well would have been nice and I’m half wondering if I should have gotten the pro for that reason. If you walk, get a lighter vessel bag. I workout 3-4 times per week. With that said, I’d be willing to walk 9 with it, but a full 18 would likely feel tiresome."

"I am one of those folks who likes a 14-way divider. Problem is I play with larger grips. It was time for a new bag and Vessel came highly recommended from my golfing buddies. Weight was a concern for me as well so I too a swing on the DXR material. After reading all the reviews and watching all of the videos online I was worried that the Player V 14-way divider would present a problem with grips getting stuck and tangled. So, I ended up ordering both the Player V Pro DXR and the Player V DXR with the 14-way divider set up. The Player V Pro ended up being a little too big for what I was looking for and I returned it. In my opinion it's a bag designed for those who ride in a cart most of the time and only walk on those "cart path only" days. The size (and weight) of the Player V DXR was right in the sweet spot for me. Sturdy enough to go on a cart, but also light enough to carry whenever I wanted. I carry 13 clubs with Golfpride MCC Plus Midsize grips (with +2 wraps) and a putter with a Scotty C. Large Matador grip. I was thrilled to find that I had absolutely no issues with getting the clubs into or out of the bag and had no issues with clubs tangling on me (whether on the back of a cart or on the ground in "stand mode"). The DXR material is fantastic and feels tough enough to take a beating for years. This is easily the best bag I've ever owned and won't think twice when the times comes to get another one. Thank you!"
"After reading all the reviews and watching all the videos online, I ended up ordering both this and the Player V pro model. I like the 14-way divider but was worried my 13 clubs with GolfPride MCC Align Plus Grips and Scotty Matador Large putter grip would present a problem with tangling and getting clubs in and out of the bag. I was relieved to find that the Player V DXR bag with the 14-way divider gave me no problems whatsoever in this regard. . . . even with the pockets loaded up with rain gear, balls, etc. I sent the Player V Pro DXR bag back as I found it a little too large for walking. Yes, you could make it work, but it felt like it would be more suited for folks who mostly ride a cart and walk only during cart path only days. The Player V DXR hits a sweet spot for me. It's a more manageable size for walking and is a "little" bit lighter than the Player V Pro DXR in my opinion. Top notch construction and quality. Best bag I've ever owned."
